Our Move to Hawaiʻi + What It Means for Lipe Luffa Co.

Nicole Lipe

If you’ve been following along, you know our family is preparing for a PCS move this summer from Kansas to Oʻahu, Hawaiʻi.

Lipe Luffa Co. started in Louisiana and have only been in Kansas for about a year, but this season has been a big one for growth, new products, and building systems behind the scenes.

Now we’re getting ready for the next transition.

Because this is an overseas move, there will be a temporary pause in business operations while our household goods are packed and shipped.

Business Timeline

Lipe Luffa Co. will pause starting May 1st while we go through the packing and moving process.

That means:

• Current inventory is part of our final Kansas-made batches
• No new production will happen
• The shop will reopen once we are settled and able to restart production in Hawaiʻi

Our goal is to reopen July or August after we’ve had time to set up a new workspace.

What to Expect Next

This move doesn’t change the mission of Lipe Luffa Co., but it does mean a short break while we transition.

We appreciate your support during this season and look forward to continuing handmade production once we’re established in our new home!!

Thank you for being part of the journey from Louisiana… to Kansas… and now Hawaiʻi.
